Christian Askeland Current Activity

Before the end of this summer, I hope to complete a book review on James P. Allen's 2020 grammar of Coptic dialects as well as a edited book chapter outlining the contents of a substantial, unpublished collection of Coptic parchments.

My future plans...

Over the next year or so, I hope to finish editing a Zondervan volume on "Gnosticism" for the Ancient Literature for New Testament Studies series, which will include long essays on groups of translated texts. I am grateful for the many contributors and translators participating in the volume. I also hope to published a monograph version of my Sahidic Revelation of John research, which is already available as a book chapter.
